Tea Tree and Manuka Oil Formula
Promotes Healing of Skin Irritations
This formula deeply penetrates
to soothe, and yet kill bacteria and fungus on contact. It can also help
reduce inflammations due to irritation and infections.
This is a great solution for sensitive areas like dry skin, baby's
diaper rash, children's minor cuts, or for dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis or any
skin inflammation. This formula is soothing to the skin but yet reaches more deeply than other oils as it's carrier is organic jojoba, made from a
desert plant bean.
Jojoba is extremely high in esters so is a great catalyst to help other
oils it's blended with to penetrate more deeply. Jojoba is also SPF 16 which makes it a natural sunscreen alternative.
To our organic jojoba oil we added a higher percentage of tea tree oil than
typically is used in these blends. Usually, companies flirt with .5% to 1%
addition of tea tree oil to their skin formulas. However, we subscribe to Dr. Richard
Schulze's view of using lots more of these fantastic oils to get the job done right
and yet still be gentle enough so as to avoid adverse reactions. We like
4.5% - 9% formulations for best results.
Manuka and Lemon Tea Tree Oils Round Out the Formula
This New Zealand oil has been found
to have powerful antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-allergenic, anti-acne,
antihistamine and anti-inflammatory properties and has a propensity for
destroying bacteria associated with acne, foot and body odor, athlete's foot,
cracked heels and nail bed infections.
Research has shown it's value in combating gram positive bacteria whereas Tea
Tree oil has more of a dislike for gram negative bacteria. So, when you
combine the two, you have a great combo to aid all types of skin and scalp
irritations.
Reports also show that quality Manuka oil can also be an effective antihistamine
- rapidly removing the itchiness, irritation and sting from insect bites, stings
and from skin reactions due to contact with stinging plants such as nettle.
People have written to tell of its great affect on their impetigo and yeast candida albicans disorders, too.
Lemon Tea Tree oil, also known as Leptospermum
citratum is composed of citral and citronellal mainly, and said to have
antiseptic, antimicrobial, carminative and sedative properties, Lemon Tea Tree
has a pleasant "lemony" scent that adds just the right
"kick" to our skin formula. You'll see.
Try some today for all your skin
irritations and you'll become a believer in these exotic Australian and New
Zealand oils.
